We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll, Benefits & HR Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with another Payroll and Benefits Administrator while also partnering closely with the broader HR team to support employees across multiple regions, including Canada, the US, the UK, and France.
This position plays a key role not only in ensuring accurate payroll and competitive benefits, but also in delivering a positive employee experience and supporting day-to-day HR operations globally.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Process payroll for designated regions within our global operations, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations
- Provide backup support for payroll processing across other regions as needed
- Maintain accurate payroll records and respond to employee payroll inquiries
- Reconcile payroll reports and ensure proper reporting to authorities in each region
- Oversee payroll operations with Employer of Record (EOR) providers
Benefits Administration
- Oversee and administer employee benefits programs for designated regions, including health insurance, pensions, and other offerings
- Act as the main point of contact for employee benefit inquiries globally
- Ensure compliance with local benefits regulations
- Coordinate with providers and brokers to review and improve plans
- Support annual benefits renewal and enrollment processes
HR Operations & Employee Support
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, processes, and programs
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes across multiple regions
- Assist in maintaining HR systems and employee records
- Collaborate with HR and managers to ensure a consistent and positive employee experience
- Support HR initiatives and projects (policy updates, internal communications, employee programs, etc.)
General
- Stay updated on payroll, benefits, and employment regulations across all regions
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to improve processes
- Support audits and reporting related to payroll, benefits, and HR
Qualifications
- Proven experience in payroll and benefits administration, ideally in an international environment
- Experience supporting broader HR functions (employee support, HR operations, or coordination)
- Knowledge of payroll processes in at least one of the following regions: UK, France, US, or Canada
- Familiarity with benefits administration across multiple countries
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bilingual in English and French (The position requires regular interaction with colleagues, suppliers and customers based outside of Quebec, nationally and internationally).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is an asset
- Knowledge of labor laws in the UK, France, US, and Canada is a plus
